Painting at Franklin Park

Went painting at Franklin Park with the Central Ohio Plein Air group on Saturday.

            

             

 

 

 Had a nice morning painting, even if it got a bit hot by the end.

Westerville Parks Week

This week I taught two classes at Westerville Parks and Recreation: Canvas Painting and Graphic Novel Design. This kids had lots of fun and came up with some great works of art.

This class went a little crazy at the end...but I think they all had a great time!

Stop by the Westerville Community Center to see the paintings from the Canvas Painting Class they will be there until the end of July.

Painting at Kenyon College in Gabier Ohio

I joined the Central Ohio Plein Air Group again today. They were painting at Kenyon College in Gabier, Ohio.

I decided to join the Central Ohio Plein Air Group again today painting in Gabier, Ohio

 

 My husband Doug went with me. I dropped him off at the bike trail in Centerburg in the morning and he biked to meet me at Gabier. 

 They had a critique after the paint out that was very helpful.

 Finished...well almost...

It was overcast so it was a great day and not too hot.

 Doug joined me and after lunch we did a little sight seeing.

Painting at the State House

I was painting at the Statehouse today with the Central Ohio Plein Air Group

 Finally found a spot, nothing on my canvas yet...

I painted from about 9 am  until about 1:30

  Wish I would have gotten a picture of the group of children in red shirts that came to play in the grass in front of the Statehouse. I did put them in my painting though...

At the end of my time a photographer from the Dispatch came by to take photos of me. I might be in the newspaper next week!
